Hello Michigan Members and Guests,
Welcome 2025! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season. Your state board and chapters are hard at work bringing you CEU opportunities. MSMA has conferences lined up through Winter of 2026. The Conference Liaison committee with chapter help are working on speakers for these conferences and as the information is available will be posted here on the website. Please continue to check back for updates. We are hoping to increase involvement at these conferences. It is a great way to obtain as many as seven CEU’s, network with other medical assistants, make new friends and connect with old friends.
Michigan was honored to host the AAMA Annual Convention back in September at the Amway Grand in Grand Rapids. There were over 500 medical assistants and educators from around the country in attendance. I would like to thank all our members who spoke, monitored rooms, helped find speakers, helped at the Ways and Means table, and those who just came and gave support. We could not have done this without you. The Board of Trustees at AAMA was also very thankful. We received a big thank you at their February BOT meeting.
