The Greater Kent County Chapter donated to various charities within the area and beyond. This Chapter selected Streams of Hope as their primary charity for the 2024-2025 year. Streams of Hope Food Pantry received donations of peanut butter, cereal and dry goods to help needy families. They also donated hats, gloves and scarves for the residents of the local Guiding Light Shelter to help clothe their residents with winter gear, to help them survive if they are not living in the shelter and living outside in the winter months. Some are homeless or in recovery. Lastly, this Chapter donated to Operation Christmas Child. Six shoeboxes filled with special gifts for children around the world, who would not have anything for Christmas. Some of the donated items were school supplies, hair brushes, barrettes, books, soccer balls, toothbrushes, and toys of all kinds.

During November of 2024, the Northwest Chapter of Medical Assistants collected food/snacks for the Leelanau Christian Services Blessing in a Backpack program. Leelanau Christian Services fills the backpacks full of food and snacks for the weekend so the students have something to eat. The Northwest Chapter members helped to donate extra food, to help cover supplies for the backpacks over the Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks. The NW Chapter was able to collect three large carts of food.
